Mel Cow Pondicherry First Look Revealed

A striking first-look poster from the upcoming Malayalam film Mel Cow Pondicherry has been released. The poster features Arjun Ashokan looking upwards, while Althaf Salim, Balu Varghese, Sanoop Thykoodam, Sharath Sabha, Anna, Amal Shah, and others are seen holding different parts of Arjun’s body. The unusual and intriguing visual has immediately grabbed attention.

Mel Cow Pondicherry is written and directed by debutant Nikhil Mohan. The first-look poster was unveiled on Monday morning, August 17, the first day of the Malayalam month of Chingam, by State Cultural Minister P. C. Vishnunath through his official social media page.

The poster received an enthusiastic response on social media within minutes of its release, as reflected in the comments and reactions.

Set against the backdrop of Pondicherry, the film is presented primarily as a full-fledged fun entertainer, while also developing into an engaging and suspenseful story at certain points. Promising both laughter and thought-provoking moments, the film revolves around the deep bond shared by a group of friends.

The story follows a group of people who studied together at a campus in Pondicherry and later reunite in the same place. The unexpected events that unfold during their reunion drive the narrative forward.

The film is produced by Arun Gopi and Justin Mathew under the banner of Arun Gopi Excitement & Justin Mathew Entertainment. Sunanda Philip Justin and Soumya John Arun serve as Executive Producers.

Nikhil Mohan, who previously worked as an associate director with Dijo Jose Antony, has also been associated as a co-writer of Prince and Family.

Arjun Ashokan, Althaf Salim, Balu Varghese, and Sharath Sabha play the central characters. Popular social media personality Annamma, along with Amal Shah and Motta Rajendran, also appear in important roles. Sreelakshmi Vijayan is the female lead.

Screenwriter Sanoop Thykoodam also plays a significant character in the film.
