Title Poster of Whistle Unveiled; Football-Themed Malayalam Film Set Against Malappuram's Sevens Football Culture

The official title poster of the upcoming Malayalam film ** Whistle ** has been unveiled. Directed by debutant Rajeev Krishna, the film is set against the vibrant backdrop of Malappuram's legendary Sevens football culture and promises an action-packed story celebrating friendship, passion, and the undying love for football.

With a grand cinematic canvas, Whistle explores the emotional bonds between friends and the electrifying atmosphere surrounding Sevens football, one of Kerala's most celebrated sporting traditions.

The film features a cast comprising prominent Malayalam actors, professional football players, and fresh faces, bringing authenticity to its football-driven narrative. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Vinod Guruvayur.

Produced by Shadil Majeed under the banner of Shadil Neenu Production House, Whistle marks the production house's maiden venture into Malayalam cinema. The film is currently in the final stages of pre-production, with shooting scheduled to commence shortly.

Cinematography is handled by noted Telugu filmmaker Ashkar Ali, while Kerala State Award-winning editor Suraj E. S. takes charge of editing. Another Kerala State Award winner, Manoj Angamaly, heads the makeup department.

The music is composed by Kamal Prashanth, a disciple of A. R. Rahman, while Vinod Ravindran, recipient of the Avanca International Film Festival Award (Portugal), serves as the production designer.
